Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Med Practice Studio Leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Broaden the client portfolio by pursuing strategic targets in collaboration with Practice Studio Leaders.
  • Serve as a representative of JLG in the community, enhancing the firm's reputation as the preferred choice for client engagements.
  • Maintain a holistic view to ensure that client objectives are met and expectations surpassed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to JLG processes for project improvement and proper phase closure.
  • While the Project Architect/Manager is the primary client liaison, maintain a connection with clients as a project sponsor.
  • Uphold JLG's status as the firm of choice, exceed client expectations, and secure recommendations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution, current architectural licensure, and NCARB record, with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience post-licensure.
  • Demonstrated success in project management and leadership for projects with construction budgets exceeding $30M, ensuring achievement of project goals, budgets, and timelines.
  • A minimum of 5 consecutive years of experience within a studio environment.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to instill client confidence, navigate challenging discussions, and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Self-motivated problem-solver with proven leadership capabilities to mentor, empower, and develop team members.
  • Evidence of community engagement and the ability to cultivate brand awareness and build relationships to secure work.
  • Comprehensive understanding of architectural business and construction processes for effective budgeting, planning, and project delivery.
  • Advanced knowledge of building codes, architectural science, and JLG standards and processes.
