Key Responsibilities:

  • Broaden the client portfolio by pursuing targets established in collaboration with Practice Studio Leaders.
  • Serve as a representative for JLG in the community, enhancing the firm's reputation as the preferred choice for client engagements.
  • Maintain a holistic view to ensure that client project goals are met and expectations are surpassed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Guide and mentor team members, providing support as needed throughout the project.
  • Ensure adherence to JLG processes for the enhancement of project outcomes and proper closure of each phase.
  • While the Project Architect/Manager serves as the primary client liaison, remain engaged with clients as a key sponsor.
  • Uphold JLG's status as the firm of choice, exceed client expectations, and secure positive recommendations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution, current architectural licensure, and NCARB record, with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience post-licensure.
  • Demonstrated success in project management and leadership for projects with construction budgets exceeding $30M, achieving project objectives, budgets, and timelines.
  • A minimum of 5 consecutive years of experience within a studio environment.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of building client trust, managing challenging discussions, and presenting confidently.
  • Highly motivated problem-solver with proven leadership abilities to mentor, empower, and develop team members.
  • Evidence of community engagement with the capacity to create brand visibility and foster relationships to secure work.
  • Comprehensive understanding of architectural business and construction processes to effectively budget, plan, and deliver projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of building codes, architectural science, and JLG's processes and standards.
