POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Hospitality Support Manager at Bar Louie, your primary focus is on delivering exceptional service to our guests and supporting our Team Members (TMs). As a vital member of Bar Louie's leadership team, you are responsible for driving profitable sales within your gastrobar's operations. You are efficient and capable of leading impactful pre-shift meetings, managing the kitchen, coaching Team Members, and inspiring guests—all while maintaining a safe and profitable environment.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support various departments within a designated location, making a positive impact daily until permanently placed in a specific department.

  • Exhibit a strong commitment to cleanliness, safety, sanitation, and accurate financial management.
  • Develop effective communication and reporting procedures to enhance service and cleanliness.
  • Organize and lead management meetings with key business leaders.
  • Oversee the hiring, management, scheduling, and training of supervisors and staff members.
  • Manage back-of-house food costs through strategic ordering, weekly inventory maintenance, and financial report analysis.
  • Clearly communicate standards and cooking methods to staff, manage orders, and engage with customers.
  • Ensure a safe working environment to minimize injury and accidents.
  • Maintain kitchen organization and cleanliness in accordance with company and health department standards.
  • Lead various operational topics including P/L management, local marketing, employee lifecycle, pre-shift meetings, bank deposits, sales goals, workload planning, staffing, guest service, cleanliness, inventory management, food preparation, and Team Member development.
  • Work over 50 hours weekly with a flexible schedule that meets guest and business needs, including early mornings, evenings, late nights, and weekends.
  • Serve as a member of the Leadership Team, supporting all company objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as required by business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum age of 21.
  • At least 2 years of experience in hospitality or restaurant settings, with a strong interest and knowledge of food service.
  • A minimum of 1 year of managerial experience with demonstrated success is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and focused on accuracy.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, renowned for your hospitality.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and personal growth.
  • Professional demeanor while representing Bar Louie.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Operations Support Managers must be willing to travel to various locations within a designated market until transitioning into a permanent position. The timeline for placement varies based on market and business needs. The role requires the ability to perform duties at different gastrobar locations, including frequent sitting, talking via video conferencing and phone, and manipulating objects.

Additional physical requirements include lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds as needed, along with standing and walking for extended periods. Frequent hand washing and sanitation are necessary, and the ability to use kitchen equipment safely is essential.
