Culinary Operations Supervisor Job Overview
In the role of Culinary Operations Supervisor at our organization, you will be responsible for managing the food preparation processes that supply our LifeCafes with ready-to-eat meals and other products that reflect our corporate values and objectives.
Primary Duties
- Oversee and engage in the preparation of ready-to-eat meals for LifeCafes, which includes ingredient sourcing, cooking, adhering to preparation guidelines, and meal assembly.
- Ensure a clean and organized kitchen environment by performing duties such as sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, and thorough cleaning.
- Handle the ordering, receiving, and inventory management of raw materials with an emphasis on cost efficiency.
- Follow established recipes meticulously to guarantee high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Encourage positive interactions and teamwork among staff and customers.
Qualifications
- Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3-4 years of experience in a kitchen setting.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to cultivate relationships with colleagues and patrons.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict management abilities.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- Basic understanding of nutritional principles.
- Experience in high-volume kitchen operations.
- 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced culinary environment.
