Position Overview:

The Production Operations Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Plant Manager and other team leaders to achieve production goals through effective management and technical expertise.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Organize, plan, and oversee manufacturing schedules
  • Lead initiatives for quality assurance, workplace safety, and team dynamics
  • Evaluate operational processes and implement enhancements as necessary
  • Compile and analyze production metrics
  • Oversee budget management and cost control
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality benchmarks
  • Guide and mentor team members
  • Foster positive interactions with all stakeholders
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned

Leadership Duties:

  • Supervise team leaders and production staff
  • Facilitate recruitment, training, and performance assessments
  • Maintain open communication with the Plant Manager
  • Address and report any quality or safety concerns

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing or food production sector
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong focus on detail and quality assurance
  • Technical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work flexible hours

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Engagement in physical tasks and operation of machinery
  • Visual acuity for monitoring production
  • Work in a controlled climate setting
  • Exposure to a high-noise production area
  • Occasional travel may be required
