Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Senior Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing operations at our state-run forensic mental health rehabilitation facility. In this pivotal role, you will manage nursing staff, develop and implement policies, and ensure the highest standards of care for our residents.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee nursing personnel, conducting performance assessments and offering constructive feedback.
- Formulate and revise policies and procedures concerning patient care and medication management.
- Serve as the lead supervisor during weekends, making key administrative decisions and coordinating resident care.
- Conduct regular audits to guarantee adherence to established standards and regulations.
- Engage in collaborative meetings, contributing insights to enhance patient care and support innovative rehabilitation strategies.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary to promote operational efficiency.
- Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in Florida.
- A minimum of three years of nursing experience or a Master's degree in Nursing.
- Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years of supervisory experience.
