About the Role

Xsolla is a global leader in video game commerce, established in 2005. Our mission is to simplify the complexities of global distribution, marketing, and monetization in the gaming industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our team and help drive pivotal projects from ideation to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cross-team, complex technical projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to translate project requirements into actionable technical project plans.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, and resources, balancing competing priorities to achieve project objectives.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between technical teams and stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and expectation management.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Ensure that technical deliverables meet quality standards and align with architectural guidelines and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes and methodologies for enhanced project delivery.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, using metrics to track performance and guide decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, software development, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile scrum and kanban.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work with worldwide teams.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency with a solid understanding of software engineering principles and practices, including knowledge of software architecture, development methodologies, and technical problem-solving.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams with proven ability to interpret and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, confluence.
  • PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
