Patient Services Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to coordinate activities for specific physician practices, including insurance verification, precertification, scheduling, pre-registration, and order transmission. The purpose of this role is to ensure maximum reimbursement and reduce denials related to incomplete insurance information and/or authorization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate insurance verification and precertification for physician practices
- Schedule appointments and pre-register patients
- Transmit orders and maintain accurate records
- Act as liaison between clinical testing sites and physicians' offices
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Two years of experience in a healthcare environment or completion of a healthcare-related certificate program or Associate's Degree or higher or transferable skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technology/computer skills
