Key Responsibilities:

  • Markets investment management, advisory, and asset servicing solutions to the institutional sector, with a focus on foundations, endowments, and nonprofit entities.
  • Leverages business networks and internal connections to pinpoint potential clients.
  • Proactively engages in market outreach to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and qualify prospects.
  • Handles RFP (Request for Proposal) submissions with the support of Central Sales Support, ensuring timely completion and delivery to prospects.
  • Organizes and presents sales demonstrations with the involvement of relevant internal experts.
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of market issues to position oneself as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Participates in industry conferences and events, which may include speaking opportunities.
  • Identifies cross-selling opportunities for additional services and products within the target market.
  • Collaborates closely with local management to leverage networks and ensure client retention.
  • Takes charge of complex and sensitive client and account matters as directed by management.
  • Investigates prospects' financial goals and requirements to propose suitable solutions and services.
  • Builds rapport with prospects and arranges meetings to advance the sales process, presenting solutions and services to prospective clients or designated representatives (e.g., search consultants, attorneys, CPAs, etc.).

  • Develops and sustains an understanding of all relevant federal, state, and local regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:
Comprehensive understanding of investment, custody, and consulting products utilized by foundations, institutions, endowments, and nonprofit organizations. Exceptional communication, presentation, and analytical abilities. Strong grasp of board/investment committee considerations in selecting and utilizing professional money managers and custodians. Familiarity with philanthropic and planned giving strategies is advantageous. Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations acquired through formal education and professional experience. Analytical and sales skills are essential to connect individual client asset situations with specific products. Interpersonal skills are necessary to understand prospect needs and respond with appropriate solutions.

Experience: 7-10 years in nonprofit/institutional investment sales or a related field. Extensive knowledge of the target market and assigned territory. Series 7 and 63 licenses are required.

Compensation:
Base salary ranges from $175,000 to $185,000.

This salary range represents an estimate of base compensation.
