Key Responsibilities in Business Development & Revenue Growth:
Promotes banking products and services to individuals, with a focus on trust and investment management offerings.
Leverages personal and professional networks, along with regional databases, to identify potential clients. Cultivates an understanding of individual client circumstances to facilitate product sales.
Takes charge of intricate and sensitive client and account activities as directed by management.

Advises clients and their legal representatives on the advantages of estate planning products/services. Evaluates assets and proposes alternatives (e.g., establishment of living or insurance trusts).
Collaborates with clients, their attorneys, and other financial advisors to devise appropriate estate tax strategies. Applies knowledge of inheritance, gift, income, and estate taxes to promote services to clients.
Summarizes account assets to assess eligibility, qualifications, and tax classifications.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of a comprehensive range of trust-related services (e.g., personal trusts, living trusts, wills, investment management, security custody, financial consulting, estate, and tax planning).

Develops and sustains an understanding of all relevant federal, state, and local regulations concerning fiduciary services and estate and tax planning to ensure compliance in financial planning activities.

Initiates and manages requests for loan, checking, or savings account services by liaising with banking and operational departments as appropriate.

Maintains regular communication with clients and serves as a conduit between the client and the bank for various activities (e.g., account setup, transaction facilitation).

Identifies cross-selling opportunities to enhance client relationships by providing relevant updates to partners within appropriate banking sectors.

Sets personal sales objectives in collaboration with management based on historical sales performance and product knowledge.
Represents personal financial planning in various business councils and task forces (e.g., personal fiduciary service, investment management, financial consulting).
Participates in relevant seminars/presentations and product knowledge training for banking partners.

Required Knowledge:
Proficiency in fiduciary products and services (e.g., personal trusts, living trusts, wills, investment management, security custody, financial consulting, estate planning), including fee structures and documentation, gained through professional experience is essential for addressing issues that arise during sales interactions.

Understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations applicable to personal fiduciary and estate and tax planning services acquired through formal education and professional experience is crucial for effective client consultation.

Analytical and sales capabilities are necessary to connect individual customer asset situations with specific products. Interpersonal skills are required to understand prospect needs and respond with suitable solutions.
Experience: 5-7 years in trust sales or trust relationship management.

Compensation:
$180,000-200,000

This salary range represents an estimate of base compensation.
