Our Team

With a committed team of over 250 professionals, we cater to a select community of nearly 600 clients and their families, offering a wide array of services that include investment management, consulting, fiduciary services, philanthropic guidance, and extensive family office solutions. We manage approximately $20 billion in private family assets, approaching each client's unique requirements with a consultative approach and customizing solutions for even the most complex financial situations.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, ensuring extensive client engagement and a solid understanding of trust and agency account management, including fiduciary accounting, securities, finance, real estate, taxation, and estate planning.
  • Focus on business development through independent efforts and collaboration with colleagues, leveraging professional networks and direct outreach to qualified prospects.
  • Maintain a robust network of legal, accounting, and other professional contacts to facilitate client relationship building.
  • Supervise an assistant and jointly manage administrative responsibilities for a designated book of accounts, sharing relationship management duties with an assigned investment officer.
  • Travel as necessary to engage with active clients, referral sources, and potential clients.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Possessing a thorough understanding of legal documents related to trusts, estate planning, and finance.
  • Engaging in new business initiatives by reaching out to network contacts and prospects to foster new client relationships.
  • Collaborating closely with various departments (tax, insurance, operations, real estate, investment, and foundations) to address client matters effectively.
  • Overseeing the processes involved in account management, including account openings and closings, asset transfers, and client correspondence.
  • Participating in client meetings alongside the investment officer.
  • Coordinating with the investment department for client investment performance reviews and monitoring trades.
  • Providing clients and their advisors with necessary information for tax filings and maintaining accounting records.
  • Completing internal documentation and presenting periodic account reviews.
  • Participating in internal committees or task forces as needed.
  • Delivering exceptional personal service to clients as required.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution.
  • Preferred industry certifications: CTFA, CFP, CFA, CPA.
  • Advanced degrees (JD, MBA) are advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience

  • A minimum of ten to fifteen years in a similar role with a proven track record in business development.
  • Exceptional ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with qualified prospects.
  • Established connections with legal, accounting, and insurance professionals in the region.
  • Experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Background in wealth management, client administration, and portfolio management.
