Position Title: Wealth Manager

Location: Seattle, WA

Role Overview:

Garde Capital, Inc. is on the lookout for a dedicated wealth management advisor to implement our unique Wealth Management methodology for both new and existing clientele. This role will involve collaboration with a senior advisor, primarily focusing on enhancing the experience of our current clients. Our target clientele typically falls within two wealth brackets: $5-25 million and over $25 million.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a senior wealth manager to deliver services in various domains, including Investment Management, Financial Planning, Estate Planning, Tax Planning, Insurance Planning, and Charitable Contributions.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess and discuss critical aspects of their wealth management.
  • Work closely with the client service associate and portfolio management team to effectively address ongoing client requirements.
  • Engage in research and maintain expertise in all facets of wealth management.
  • Coordinate with other professionals on the client's wealth management team, such as estate planning attorneys and tax consultants.
  • Assist clients with additional projects related to their overall wealth management strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a client-facing wealth management role within a financial institution.
  • Possession of Series 65 license (can be obtained during employment).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Professional demeanor and high level of confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Self-driven and collaborative team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
  • Understanding of financial markets and/or experience with securities.
  • Possession of advanced certifications such as CPA, JD, CFP, or CFA.
  • Experience in optimizing tax and estate planning strategies for clients.
  • Experience advising 401(k) plan participants.
  • Technologically adept, with the ability to navigate existing systems and evaluate new solutions.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and develop processes that align with client objectives.
  • Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Teams.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary based on experience, along with opportunities for annual bonuses. Our healthcare plan covers 75% of employee costs, and we provide a generous 401(k) match after one year of service, in addition to paid vacation.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 am – 4 pm, with flexibility for client meetings as necessary. Initial training will require daily office attendance, with the potential for a flexible schedule allowing for remote work up to two days per week after training.
