We are seeking a Head of Strategic Partnerships at UnitedMasters.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team to manage, implement, and enhance existing strategies and tactics for business development within the organization.
  • Identify, assess, engage, and follow up with potential clients through various sales, communication, and marketing channels (including leveraging existing CMO/Marketing contacts, cold outreach, and participation in virtual/in-person events).
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key prospects to understand and fulfill their business requirements.
  • Present capabilities and articulate unique selling propositions tailored to prospect needs and our offerings.
  • Develop and personalize presentations and sales materials, including scopes of work, while contributing to the creation of essential sales tools such as case studies and award submissions.
  • Lead the response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), collaborating with diverse teams to craft and manage the proposal process from inception to completion.
  • Set and achieve sales objectives, metrics, and milestones, while tracking and reporting progress to both the Agency Senior Leadership Team and Enterprise Sales Leadership.
  • Exhibit a strong passion for pop culture, multicultural entertainment, sports, and brands, with a keen understanding of client needs in these domains.
  • Analyze market trends and client requirements, consulting with executive leadership and internal teams to develop effective solutions.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Comprehend the pitch lifecycle for creative agencies.
  • Manage the RFI and RFP processes from start to finish, including resource coordination, milestone management, leadership reviews, scope development, and negotiations.
  • Demonstrate high levels of initiative, energy, accountability, creativity, and professionalism.
  • Possess strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize multiple projects and initiatives effectively.
  • Exhibit the ability to perform under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Adapt quickly and effectively to change.
  • Skilled in creating impactful proposals, sales tools, presentations, and product one-sheets.
  • Deliver excellent written and verbal communication, consistently presenting ideas clearly and succinctly.
  • Embody and promote the core values of the agency.
  • Maintain an existing network of contacts for potential opportunities and demonstrate the ability to expand this network over time.
  • Integrate personal passion and experience in relevant ways to enhance the quality of the agency's deliverables.
Minimum Experience Required
  • 7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (experience in creative/social agencies, media companies, or content firms is advantageous), including a background in selling, negotiating, closing deals, and relationship building.
  • Located in New York for a hybrid office role.
Preferred Experience
  • A strong enthusiasm for sports, music, entertainment, and pop culture.
  • A deep respect for creativity.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Proficient in digital tools and Google Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to engage with key clients.

Compensation Range: $155,000 - $185,000

This salary range reflects our commitment to competitive compensation within our industry and is part of a broader package that includes various benefits and rewards. Individual pay rates are determined by factors such as qualifications, experience, and internal equity. We are open to diverse profiles and recognize that the successful candidate may have varying levels of experience compared to the posted description.
