In the role of Account Manager, you will contribute to HALO's expansion by serving as the primary sales liaison within a designated territory of accounts in the Channing Bete Company Program's Sales Group. Your responsibilities will include developing, nurturing, and sustaining customer relationships, ensuring a positive client experience, and driving revenue growth with medium-sized and large-order clients through proactive and reactive communication from an office-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve or surpass annual sales targets for the assigned territory within the Channing Bete Company Program's Sales Group.
- Conduct a specified number of high-quality proactive telephone presentations daily tailored to prospects and clients from provided contact lists to meet monthly and annual call objectives.
- Maintain detailed call notes daily in customer relationship management software (Salesforce).
- Prepare and present sales proposals to current and potential clients through proactive and reactive telephone communications.
- Independently oversee and manage all pre- and post-sale activities, ensuring the tracking of quotes and orders through to completion.
- Collaborate with fellow Account Managers, Supervisory/Management staff, and Customer Service personnel to deliver exceptional customer service and sales support to existing and prospective clients.
- Adjust call strategies or sales approaches in response to market changes, new funding opportunities, or emerging client needs.
- Comprehend the requirements of clients/prospects to effectively position the value of Channing Bete Company products and services.
- Proactively introduce new products/services as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 1 year of experience in Telemarketing, Customer Service, or Account Management.
- Proficient in Windows-based Microsoft applications.
- Experience with customer relationship management software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment while also working independently.
- Strong phone sales capabilities, excellent articulation, active listening skills, and effective communication (both written and verbal).
- Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and lead projects to completion.
