Atlas Field Services is seeking a dedicated Utility Arborist Consultant to join our dynamic team in the Massachusetts region. If you are passionate about the outdoors and possess expertise in vegetation management, we invite you to explore this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate tree health and conditions accurately
- Monitor power lines to ensure vegetation clearance
- Document and confirm tree maintenance activities
- Assess trees for potential hazards
- Review contractor work for adherence to standards
- Support during emergency response situations
- Engage with clients and stakeholders effectively
- Foster positive community relations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications:
- Preferred degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- ISA Certified Arborist designation is advantageous
- Experience in Forestry, Arboriculture, or Horticulture is beneficial
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working outdoors in diverse weather conditions
- Proficient with technology and basic computer applications
- Commitment to safety practices
