Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Patient Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in engaging with individuals and possess the skills necessary to assess potential candidates through effective screening techniques. Strong organizational abilities are essential for managing a robust pipeline of prospective participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain comprehensive records related to participant recruitment for clinical studies.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidate suitability.
  • Review medical charts to identify eligible participants.
  • Ensure timely recruitment of high-quality subjects in accordance with study protocols.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of study protocols, including inclusion/exclusion criteria, trial duration, number of visits, and other critical information necessary for educating and screening potential subjects.
  • Build and sustain relationships with current and prospective participants.
  • Submit weekly pre-screening and tracking logs as required.
  • Enter and maintain referral data in the site database.
  • Keep a detailed log of referral sources from various advertising channels.
  • Maintain statistics on enrolled subjects, screen failures, early discontinuations, and scheduled visits.
  • Complete records for referrals from central recruitment campaigns.
  • Provide weekly reports to site supervisors and management.
  • Make reminder calls to participants regarding appointments.
  • Communicate necessary instructions to participants for their scheduled visits.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with current and potential subjects.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Research Coordinators regarding recruitment strategies and upcoming advertising initiatives.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Background in the medical field is advantageous.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow within the clinical research industry.
