Restore First Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in providing advanced care for chronic wounds, diabetes, and metabolic disorders. As a Medical Assistant - Wound Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide care for patients under the direction of our Nurse Practitioner and Practice Manager.
- Assist with wound procedures, including preparing patients, assisting during treatments, and recording treatment in the electronic medical record.
- Help with patient/family education and demonstrate competency and skills to serve patients of all ages.
- Operate a company vehicle and drive to patient locations, prioritizing work calls and texts while maintaining a hands-free environment.
- Manage wound documentation and supply per patient need, inventory and replenish wound supplies, and assist with completion of WCR orders.
- Work with the Practice Manager to manage daily wound visits and consultation schedules, optimizing driving routes and coordinating with patient's PCP, specialists, and home health services.
- High School diploma or equivalent and graduation from a Certified Medical Assistant program.
- Two years of medical assistant experience in a medical practice setting, preferably with wound care.
- Current BCLS certification and a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
- Organizational and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to work quickly and efficiently to assure patient comfort and satisfaction.
- Knowledge of basic office skills, medical terminology, and operation of office equipment.

This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $23.00. The Medical Assistant - Wound Care Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, driving to patient locations and interacting with patients, providers, and other healthcare professionals.
This job requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may occasionally move 100 pounds. The employee must be able to sit and drive in a vehicle for extended periods of time.
This job may pose the potential of occupational exposure, but regular job tasks do not involve exposure.
