We are seeking a highly skilled Business Continuity Specialist to join our team at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all efforts related to the University's business continuity program, working closely with the Director of Emergency Management to set strategic priorities and manage the business continuity planning management software.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate business continuity efforts for the Institution
- Work with offices/departments to develop and implement continuity plans
- Manage business continuity software and lead after-action review process
- Assist with technological support for the Emergency Operations Center
- Support OEM initiatives as needed
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of experience in business continuity and resiliency, emergency management, risk management, or a related field. Advanced degree and additional experience are highly desirable. Strong time management, organization, and communication skills are essential. Experience with emergency management related software and applicable systems is also preferred.
What We OfferThe University of North Carolina at Charlotte offers a competitive salary range of $51,285 - $57,762 and a comprehensive benefits package. The finalist will be subject to a Criminal Background Check and/or a Motor Vehicle Report.
