TalentBridge is partnering with a forward-thinking manufacturing leader to find a skilled Continuous Improvement Manager.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving efficiency, reducing waste, and optimizing manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analyses of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and insights on potential improvement areas.
  • Apply LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize statistical analysis and problem-solving techniques to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce scrap and waste in the manufacturing process.
  • Work closely with production teams to implement changes that enhance product quality and decrease material loss.
  • Evaluate current changeover processes and develop strategies to minimize downtime during changeovers.
  • Implement improvements to streamline changeover procedures and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Analyze Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize OEE and enhance equipment performance.
  • Take ownership of improvement projects from conception to implementation, ensuring timely completion and measurable results.
  • Collaborate with various departments to secure resources and support for successful project execution.
  • Provide training to employees on continuous improvement methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong background in LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proven ability to identify improvement opportunities and successfully implement projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Project management experience with a track record of delivering results.
  • Understanding of SMED activities is a plus.
