The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR needs of the organization, working closely with the Vice President of Human Resources and the Manager of Human Resources. This role will be responsible for recruiting efforts, workers' compensation reporting and administration, and assisting with the performance review process. Responsibilities- Recruit and hire top talent for all levels of employees
- Administer workers' compensation and FMLA programs
- Assist with performance reviews and development plans
- Update employee records in the HRIS system
- Ensure compliance with corporate HR policies and procedures
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Respond to employee questions and concerns
- Stay up-to-date on changes in local and state legislation
The ideal candidate will have an associate's degree or HR certification and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter role. They will have hands-on experience with HRIS systems, knowledge of applicant tracking systems, and a solid understanding of HR laws and payroll processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good problem-solving abilities, and team management skills are also essential.
