Human Resources Business Partner

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees on HR-related inquiries and issues.
- Partner with the Executive Director and leadership team to evaluate workforce needs for assigned business units.
- Conduct full life cycle talent acquisition functions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and employment offers.
- Ensure all pre-employment processes for new hires are completed, including background checks, drug screens, and verification of education and licensure.
- Complete the onboarding process with new hires and coordinate new hire orientation.
- Perform Family and Medical Leave administration, including responding to leave requests and monitoring employee status.
- Serve as the payroll and time/attendance administrator for the facility and liaison to corporate payroll.
- Update and maintain employee data in the HRIS system.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee benefits inquiries.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Lead employee relations activities and HR projects.
- Provide support and coaching to leaders and managers to resolve employee relations issues and guide performance management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; associate degree required.
- Minimum two years' human resources experience.
- Demonstrated experience using an HRIS system.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Long-term care or health care experience preferred.
Certifications:
HR certification preferred.
