Job Summary

The Vice President, Business Partner and Organizational Development will provide executive-level leadership and guidance to the organization's O&P operations for our United States office, with a primary focus in San Francisco, California.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily O&P workflow for the SF office.
  • Act as a main point of contact for both employees and managers in the organization, requiring close liaison with business leaders to deliver forward-looking solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Operate as a generalist, competent across the whole HR spectrum of responsibilities and contribute to the development and delivery of the business and people strategy.
  • Possess the gravitas to work with the leadership team and play a consultative role, confidently implementing HR solutions.
  • Understand the unique intricacies of the organization to provide sound human capital advice and solutions.
  • Act as the performance improvement driver to influence positive changes in the business environment and maintain strong, effective, and transparent communication.
  • Commercially aware and able to anticipate business challenges.
  • Has strong knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment laws, human resources, and talent management.
  • Ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements for California.
  • Manage and collaborate with the broader O&P team to drive and deliver end-to-end HR solutions such as talent acquisition, performance reviews, talent development, mobility, learning programs, and compensation reviews.
  • Assist the HR team with diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Monitor the compliance of the Expense Management system along with the Director of Finance and O&P Director in NY.
  • Keep an open mind on role extension/coverage since it's a small office.
Requirements
  • Min. 12 years of experience across multiple human resources disciplines, such as talent acquisition and development, employee retention, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and compensation practices.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong ability to adapt to changing business environments, decisions, and policies.
  • Relationship builder with strong communication and collaborative skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving competency.
  • Exercises excellent judgment and discretion.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations for California.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's preferred or HR certification.
