In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with the oversight of our water and wastewater treatment operations. Your responsibilities will include making necessary process adjustments, supervising operational shifts, and ensuring the facility runs efficiently and effectively.

Position Overview:

As the Senior Operations Manager, you will need to possess extensive knowledge and experience in the field of water and wastewater treatment. You will oversee the daily operations, make crucial decisions, and ensure that all processes are executed seamlessly. Your expertise will be vital to the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage plant operations
  • Supervise and mentor junior operators
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Maintain and repair equipment as necessary
  • Monitor and evaluate treatment processes
  • Communicate effectively and maintain accurate documentation
  • Respond to emergency situations as they arise
  • Lead evening shifts and manage after-hours emergencies
  • Classified as essential personnel
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • A minimum of four years of experience in water and wastewater treatment
  • Experience in team leadership or supervisory roles
  • TCEQ Class B Water or Wastewater Operator's License
  • In-depth knowledge of water and wastewater treatment methodologies
Skills & Abilities:

Strong leadership, decision-making, troubleshooting, and communication skills are essential for this position. You should be capable of addressing complex challenges, interpreting analytical results, and ensuring optimal operational performance.
