IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is in search of a Protocol & Operation Specialist to fulfill a pivotal role within the Program Executive Office, Aviation (PEO AVN) Operations, Plans, and Strategy (OPS). This position is temporary, with a potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

As the principal advisor on protocol matters for Operations, you will also act as the chief operations officer for the Strategic Initiatives Group (SIG). Your insights will shape the adherence to appropriate protocol practices and precedence for various offices, including the PEO, Deputy PEO, Chief of Staff, and subordinate Project Management offices.
  • For designated visits, you will independently devise, organize, and implement all facets of engagements involving high-ranking U.S. and foreign dignitaries, as well as special ceremonies led by senior PEO AVN leadership. This role demands a thorough interpretation of policies and the creation of detailed plans tailored to unique visit requirements.
  • You will assess protocol support needs for members of Congress, Presidential appointees, local community leaders, General Officers, Senior Executive Service (SES) personnel, and other high-level civilians within the Department of the Army, as well as dignitaries from foreign nations and industry executives.
  • Your role will include responding to inquiries regarding proper protocol procedures, ensuring that all responses are coordinated and maintain the necessary confidentiality. Your advice must be timely, precise, and reflect a solid understanding of protocol principles.
  • Acting as an office automation technical support expert for PEO AVN SIG, you will perform various office automation tasks utilizing software applications such as electronic mail, Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2), desktop publishing, calendar management, spreadsheets, databases, and graphics.
  • You will undertake a diverse range of office support and administrative tasks to facilitate the efficient management of the PEO AVN SIG office. This includes planning, coordinating, and supervising office support functions such as communications, procurement of administrative supplies and equipment, graphics support, printing, reproduction, space management, records management, and mail services.
  • While executing your responsibilities, you may occasionally need to stand, walk, sit, use tools or controls, and engage in normal physical activities. You may also need to lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree accompanied by 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Clearance Requirements: Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Secret Level Security Clearance.
