Job Title: Industrial Automation Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as an Industrial Automation Outside Sales Representative. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business, developing existing relationships, and driving revenue growth in our assigned territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow revenue in the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new opportunities and upselling/cross-selling products and services.
  • Prospect for new business, generating leads and converting them into sales.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to stay up-to-date on new products and services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in industrial automation or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial control and automation applications, products, and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in sales software and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively, including driving to client locations and attending off-site meetings.
