Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Mental Health Counselor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for treatment planning, providing mental health counseling, conducting psychology assessments, and managing cases to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address clients' mental health needs
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to promote mental well-being
  • Conduct psychological assessments to identify clients' strengths and areas for improvement
  • Manage client cases to ensure timely and effective interventions
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Licensed Mental Health Counseling
  • Active and valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in the State of New York
  • Valid NYS Driver License
  • Treatment planning and case management skills
  • Mental health and psychology expertise
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in providing individual therapy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques
  • Preferred CBT, DBT, EMDR training
