Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with senior medical leaders to design and implement a comprehensive psychiatry program that meets the needs of our patients and aligns with the organization's goals.
- Provide short and long-term psychotherapy, medication management, and counseling services to patients across the age spectrum.
- Supervise a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and maintain accurate patient records, including health, developmental, and psychosocial histories.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest APA Practice Guidelines and agency standards to provide evidence-based care.
- Consult with other healthcare providers to manage complex mental health cases.
- Participate in on-call coverage and document patient interactions.
- Contribute to the development of protocols for consistent care and quality improvement initiatives.
- Graduate of a recognized medical school with completion of residency in psychiatry or a related field.
- Current NYS physician license and board eligibility/certification in psychiatry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; Spanish language proficiency preferred.
Competitive salary range: $250,000-$300,000 per year (based on a full-time, 40-hour work week). Individual compensation may vary based on factors such as skill set, experience, and qualifications.
