Role Summary:

This position is integral to Blue Origin Operations, which encompasses Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. You will provide support for Manufacturing and Supply Chain across all our facilities.

As a key member of a dedicated team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will design and implement an integrated manufacturing system that utilizes cutting-edge manufacturing techniques to produce advanced space propulsion systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee manufacturing-related projects.
  • Meet targets for cycle time, lead time, and production rates.
  • Support production through scheduling, budget management, and resource allocation.
  • Drive process improvements using Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Enhance operations through ergonomic assessments and capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements for data, tools, and workflow automation.
Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in assembly manufacturing settings.
  • Proficiency in factory flow and process modeling.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data mining and analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Preferred:

  • Advanced degrees such as an MBA or MSE.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing.
