Manufacturing Engineer II

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Manufacturing Engineer II, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing manufacturing processes for our rocket engine turbomachinery components. Your expertise will help us achieve our goal of making space travel safer, more efficient, and more accessible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes for turbomachinery components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test new components
  • Optimize manufacturing processes to improve quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency
  • Conduct DFMA and PFMEA studies to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions and procedures
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in turbomachinery manufacturing and manufacturing engineering
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
