Test Operations Technician II

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Test Operations Technician II, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our test facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on test equipment and facilities
- Assist in the design, construction, and testing of new test equipment and facilities
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve technical issues and improve test procedures
- Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in test facility support, testing rocket or jet engines, flight vehicle systems, or closely related applications
- Demonstrated ability to work with test, flight, and safety critical hardware
- Experience with pneumatic systems, propellant loading and off-loading systems, and pressurized system safety
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, including P&IDs and fabrication drawings
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of a variety of rocket propellants, including liquid hydrogen, liquid oxygen, and liquid methane
- Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight critical hardware
- MIG/TIG, orbital welding experience
