Role Summary

Blue Origin is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer II to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for our reusable launch vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and be part of a team that is pushing the boundaries of space exploration.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop mechanical systems for our reusable launch vehicles
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical systems meet performance and safety requirements
* Conduct analysis and testing to validate mechanical system designs
* Develop and maintain technical documentation for mechanical systems

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
* 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and development
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems and design principles
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
* 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development
* Experience with launch vehicle systems and cryogenics
* Strong understanding of Finite Element Analysis and thermal modeling
