Position Overview

The Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS) design team is responsible for establishing specifications and design criteria for cutting-edge light water reactors. Utilizing sophisticated engineering techniques, the team guarantees that all components adhere to industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

This position entails conducting design and stress evaluations on pressure vessels and piping systems to ensure compliance with ASME BPVC Section III and other regulatory standards.

All tasks are executed in accordance with ASME NQA-1 quality assurance protocols and guidelines set forth by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • Experience in the nuclear sector
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Over 10 years of experience, including expertise in engineering design, stress engineering analysis (design by analysis methodology), and proficiency with the ANSYS software
  • Strong knowledge of ASME BPVC Section III and performing Section 3 analysis using ANSYS
