Overview:
This role is designated for a process and tooling engineer dedicated to the design of tooling and the advancement of fabrication processes, specifically aimed at enhancing HP's cutting-edge microfluidics-based cooling solutions for data centers. This is a dynamic opportunity that demands agility and responsiveness in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engineering solutions that encompass mechanical systems, subsystems, and algorithms, grounded in engineering principles.
- Innovate and execute new tooling designs, establish process parameters, and create testing protocols for both new and existing products, ensuring validation of tolerances, form/fit/function, and compliance with safety and reliability standards.
- Engage and collaborate with management, internal teams, and external partners regarding design updates, project milestones, and resolution of issues.
- Contribute as a member of a project team alongside other engineers and development partners to deliver reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Typically requires 4-6 years of relevant experience.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in design tools and software applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in designing mechanical tooling and associated algorithms.
- Skilled in empirical analysis, modeling, and testing methodologies to validate designs and manage thermal/emissions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English and local language is required. Ability to effectively articulate product architectures and design proposals at management levels.
