Position Overview:

Franklin Street is actively looking for an Insurance Client Services Specialist to enhance our insurance division.

The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in supporting a commercial insurance operation, including at least 1 year in a professional business services environment, ideally in an administrative or support capacity.

An active 4-40 or 2-20 commercial insurance license is required, along with a bachelor's degree in risk management or a related field being highly preferred. Proficiency in AMS 360 or similar industry software is advantageous.


Key Responsibilities:

The Insurance Client Services Specialist will collaborate with Account Managers to support our team of insurance agents, facilitating their productivity and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients.

This role involves working on assigned tasks to gain a comprehensive understanding of the commercial insurance sector under the guidance of the insurance support team.

  • Assist Insurance Agents with client documentation and processing tasks.
  • Maintain and update databases and spreadsheets for the insurance team.
  • Ensure coverage details, endorsements, and communications are current in the management system (AMS360) and proprietary databases.
  • Daily scanning and uploading of documents.
  • Perform routine insurance processing duties.
  • Input policies into the insurance database system (AMS 360).
  • Process endorsements within AMS.
  • Request loss runs for renewals.
  • Prepare Acord Applications and Supplemental Applications.
  • Create Certificates of Insurance and Evidence of Insurance.
  • Compile Summaries of Insurance.
  • Respond to various client inquiries.

Additionally, the Specialist will gather signed documents, deliver them to underwriters, and obtain necessary information to finalize bind requests from agents.

Support agents and brokers by producing general correspondence, client binders, memos, charts, tables, graphs, and business and premium allocations.

Assist agents and brokers with daily tasks and special projects as required.

Other duties may be assigned as necessary.


Marketing Support:

Assist Practice Leaders with marketing initiatives, including pre-renewal presentations, loss summaries, SOV analysis, allocations, and submissions.


Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. The candidate must articulate clearly and professionally.

Ability to represent the company in a professional manner, both in person and over the phone, with a customer service-oriented approach is crucial.

Professional business attire is mandatory.

Analytical skills are necessary to compile and summarize data for reports, resolve various issues, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Possession of an active 4-40 or 2-20 commercial insurance license, or the willingness to obtain one shortly after hiring, is required.

A bachelor's degree in risk management or a related field is strongly preferred.

Proficiency in AMS 360 or similar software is a plus.

Advanced skills in the MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, are required, along with the ability to learn additional relevant software.
