Position Summary

We are seeking a Client Services Manager who will oversee the daily operations of a designated account. This role involves recruiting, training, managing, and, when necessary, terminating staff. The Client Services Manager will cultivate and sustain strong relationships with both clients and employees, ensuring the development and retention of staff while coordinating essential support services to address challenges effectively. Providing exceptional customer service is paramount.

Key responsibilities include maintaining weekly operational schedules and managing payroll for assigned janitorial staff, as well as offering after-hours emergency support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily janitorial operations at the assigned client site.
  • Lead a team of cleaning personnel, handling scheduling, payroll, and training.
  • Ensure high-quality janitorial services are consistently delivered to the client.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with clients and staff.
  • Address and resolve any escalated issues or concerns effectively.
  • Ensure employee grievances are acknowledged and addressed.
  • Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles utilized at the account, maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
  • Proactively communicate with clients to meet their needs; conduct regular meetings, listen to concerns, and provide expert solutions to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Enforce company policies as outlined in the employee handbook and on the company portal.
Qualifications:
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • At least 6 months of experience in business management, operations, or supervisory roles in facilities or client-focused environments is preferred.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Management experience in a unionized setting is preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with varying on-call times.
  • A minimum of 1 year of management experience, preferably in the cleaning industry.
  • Experience in the janitorial sector or a willingness to be trained in this field.
