Regional Sales Manager

C & B Material Handling, LLC, a leading supplier of material handling equipment and automation solutions, is seeking a seasoned Regional Sales Manager to lead its sales team in Iowa, South Dakota, and Montana. This strategic role directs the sales team's strategy, long-term planning, and sales processes, ensuring consistent internal and external customer satisfaction and Sales Department efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deploy a comprehensive sales strategy and long-term plans that integrate the company's values, mission, resources, and goals.
  • Establish and enforce effective Sales Department processes across all locations to ensure consistent internal and external customer satisfaction and Sales Department efficiencies.
  • Create incentive plans for the sales team and customers.
  • Develop and communicate annual Sales Department goals and budgets for the Region, aligning with the organization's financial and operational objectives.
  • Achieve asset turn goals and oversee new and used complete goods inventory levels.
  • Define the strategy for used and new equipment sales.
  • Implement a customer relationship process to achieve and maintain dealership loyalty.
  • Ensure effective communication with customers, sales staff, and other departments.
  • Direct and advise recruiting, staffing, and employee development efforts for the Sales Department.
Requirements:
  • Proven sales management experience, preferably in the material handling industry.
  • Familiarity with a wide variety of material handling equipment.
  • Strong material handling background with corresponding degree preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record are required.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire others.
  • Excellent understanding of financial principles relative to Sales Department operations.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Exceptional teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to speak effectively in front of large groups.
