Job Title: Northeast Governmental Sales Manager

At Diamond Mowers, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Governmental Sales Manager to join our team in the Northeast region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with key accounts, providing business advice and strategic sales guidance to our dealers, and driving sales growth within the territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a territory-specific strategic plan to expand Diamond's market share within the Northeast region.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key accounts, providing business advice and strategic sales guidance to our dealers.
  • Drive sales growth within the territory by identifying and developing new sales opportunities, and optimizing sales programs with our dealers.
  • Maintain full knowledge of the inventory of our dealers within the territory, and assist them in promoting Diamond's products through sales training, co-operative marketing efforts, demos, and other promotional activities.
  • Hold dealers accountable to established business plans and objectives, and ensure they are properly trained on business strategy, sales, and technical aspects.
  • Identify and recruit new dealers within the assigned territory, based on company objectives and needs.
  • Manage the dealers' on-boarding process, and respond to all customer and dealer calls and emails within 24 hours.
  • Work as a business advisor, providing both business advice and strategic sales advice to our dealers.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows, and actively contribute to regular sales and company-wide meetings.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of previous selling experience, with 1-3 years of experience working with industrial heavy equipment.
  • Preferred education: Associate's degree in Business or Economics.
  • Software knowledge: MS Office, CRM preferred.
