Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Human Resources Director to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a key member of our HR leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization by providing strategic guidance and support to our business leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with regional executives to understand and assess business needs, developing innovative HR solutions to meet regional business objectives.
  • Anticipate HR needs within the region, making recommendations and developing plans to address talent management, employee relations, and labor relations.
  • Integrate the FOCUS values into regional practices and processes, ensuring all leaders and team members experience and engage in supporting our values.
  • Leverage Just Culture to help craft plans for addressing culture development needs identified in the region.
  • Build trusting and credible relationships with business leaders, understanding short- and long-term needs of the region.
  • Lead organizational design processes based on strategic priorities, considering system-level impacts.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to support common business goals, objectives, and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years' experience in providing Human Resources services, solutions, and leadership in roles of different levels of size, complexity, business model maturity, etc.
  • Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
  • Strong partnering skills, ability to manage and develop HR functional and leadership capability, and lead organization design, restructuring, and strategic workforce planning initiatives.
  • Experience in creating and enhancing organizational culture through organizational effectiveness and development strategies that deliver higher levels of employee engagement, commitment, and satisfaction.
