Job Title: Regional Account Manager

James Hardie Building Products Inc. is a leading manufacturer of fiber cement home siding and exterior design solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Account Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategic plans to drive sales growth. This role requires a strong understanding of the construction industry, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through effective account management and sales strategies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Provide regular sales reports and analysis to management, highlighting key trends, opportunities, and challenges.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of success in account management and sales growth.
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry, including products, services, and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 35% out of market (overnight).
