About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at Rasa Floors, LLC. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating client leads, building relationships, and driving sales operations within our Baltimore branch or designated territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Long-Term Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Develop Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services to become an expert advisor for our clients.
  • Compile Sales Leads: Compile and maintain lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, utilizing information from corporate office, coworkers, business directories, industry publications, trade shows, and other sources.
  • Travel and Meet with Clients: Travel throughout our service area to visit future clients, establishing relationships and qualifying their needs.
  • Present Solutions: Present appropriate products and services to clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Closing Sales and Client Loyalty: Close sales and develop client loyalty through exceptional service and follow-up.
  • Enter Sales Data: Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into our computer database.
  • Update CRM: Update our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system daily, logging contact with both regular and future clients.
  • Collaborate with Departments: Work with customer care and operations departments to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
  • Investigate and Resolve Challenges: Investigate and resolve challenges that arise, maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay current with industry trends and developments, attending apartment association events and functions, and participating in professional sales training.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Self-Motivation and Initiative: Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative, with a hard-working and business-building temperament.
  • Computer Literacy: Be highly computer literate, with a strong understanding of the internet and social networking.
  • Proven Sales Experience: Possess a proven track record in sales or multifamily housing, with a strong ability to generate leads and close sales.
  • Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance: Have a valid driver's license and auto insurance, with dependable transportation to cover the greater Baltimore and surrounding area.
  • Professional Sales Training: Indicate if you have received any professional sales training, and what it consisted of.
  • Multifamily/Property Management Experience: Preferably have experience in multifamily or property management, although not required.
  • Flooring Experience: Preferably have experience in flooring, although not required.
