Electromechanical Assembly Specialist

Location: Orlando, FL

Duration: 12 Month Contract

Pay Range: $18-19

We are looking for a proficient Electromechanical Assembly Specialist to contribute to the production of electromechanical subassemblies. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of IPC-620 standards.

This role necessitates the capability to conduct self-assessments, recognize acceptable criteria or defects, and adhere to work instructions and schematics.

Essential Skills Required:

  • Proficiency with IPC-620 standards, including:
  • Crimping techniques for open and closed barrels
  • Coaxial connections (BNCs, Virginia or Mac Panel)
  • Soldering skills
  • Utilization of solder sleeves
  • Implementation of daisy chains
  • Execution of solder splices
  • Ability to perform self-inspections (understanding criteria for acceptable or defect recognition)
  • Capability to follow work instructions and comprehend drawings

Preferred Skills:

  • Mechanical and electrical experience with subassemblies
  • Understanding of torque settings and tool usage
  • Knowledge of cable routing (including bend radius, service loops, and wire dressing)
