We are seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team at Butler America Aerospace, LLC. in building electromechanical subassemblies in a production setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with IPC-620 standards and be able to perform self-inspections, understand criteria for acceptable or defect recognition, and follow work instructions and drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly tasks in a production setting, adhering to IPC-620 standards
- Conduct self-inspections to ensure quality and accuracy
- Follow work instructions and understand drawings to complete tasks efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Required Skills:
- Experience with IPC-620 standards, including:
- Crimping open and closed barrels
- Coax (BNC's, Virginia or Mac Panel)
- Soldering
- Solder sleeves
- Daisy chains
- Solder splices
- Ability to perform self-inspections and understand criteria for acceptable or defect recognition
- Ability to follow work instructions and understand drawings
Desired Skills:
- Mechanical and electrical experience on subassemblies
- Torque (understanding how to set tool and use)
- Cable routing (bend radius, service loops, dressing of wires)
