Role Description

This position is part of a leading business unit focused on the research, development, and production of both manned and unmanned ground vehicle systems, as well as advanced electro-optical and smart munitions systems. The unit is recognized for its innovative contributions to high-performance missile and rocket technology.

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Design Engineer to contribute to our IRST Fixed Wing Program Area. As a key member of the Electro-Mechanical team, you will engage in hands-on hardware development, pioneering design efforts, and enhancing your technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design intricate electronic chassis, printed wiring boards (PWB), circuit card assemblies (CCA), and cable harnesses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards for operational readiness.
  • Report to the Hardware Integrated Product Team (HW IPT) Lead to develop harness concepts for subsystem interfaces, create wiring diagrams, and support component procurement and integration.
  • Work effectively with a diverse array of internal organizations, managing supplier contributions and producing essential documentation.
  • Conduct design trade studies to assess cost, weight, packaging, and power advantages.
  • Participate in a dynamic environment utilizing a tailored Product Development Process (PDP) to facilitate rapid missile demonstrations.
Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including:

  • Proficiency in CREO, Zuken, missile harnessing methodologies, missile architecture, and integration.
  • Experience with printed wiring board (PWB), circuit card assembly (CCA) design, and cable harnesses.
  • Familiarity with CAMEO is advantageous.
