Job Overview

Symmetrio is seeking an experienced HRMS Consultant to support a significant government entity. This role is crucial for optimizing the organizational framework within the Human Resources Management System (HRMS) through effective Position Control strategies. The consultant will be responsible for assessing current organizational and position data attributes, as well as enhancing business processes to facilitate the successful adoption of Position Control.

The consultant will also be tasked with communicating the advantages of this implementation to ensure that the client recognizes its value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate existing HRMS data extracts and budget documentation.
  • Develop a comprehensive list of business processes associated with position control.
  • Examine current business process documentation for relevance and accuracy.
  • Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to gather additional insights.
  • Perform a gap analysis to compare the current organizational structure with the proposed Position Control framework.
  • Deliver a detailed report outlining the positions that require updates for Position Control integration.
  • Define system requirements necessary for implementation.
  • Propose actionable steps for effective implementation.
  • Identify necessary changes to existing processes.
  • Enumerate the benefits the client will gain from adopting the Position Control Organizational Structure.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to review and finalize findings and recommendations.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HRMS/HRIS/HCM.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing position control for large, complex organizations, ideally within government sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS.
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft, especially regarding Pension administration.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse individuals.
  • Demonstrated diplomacy and tact in fostering constructive relationships.
