Summary: Ohm Systems is seeking a Consultant to assist in the implementation of Position Control within its Human Resources Management System (HRMS). The Consultant will assess necessary modifications to organizational and position data, as well as related business processes, to effectively establish Position Control. The Consultant will also articulate the advantages of Position Control, ensuring accurate reporting of vacancies and monitoring departmental hiring against authorized budgets.

Position Responsibilities: The Consultant will review existing HRMS data and business processes to facilitate the implementation of Position Control. The objective is to improve the organization's capability to track vacancies and budget forecasts, support recruitment efforts, and ensure compliance within the workforce. The Consultant will perform a comprehensive analysis, offer recommendations, and delineate the benefits of adopting a Position Control framework.

Key Activities:

  • Assess current HRMS data, budget information, and associated business processes related to position control.
  • Examine extracts of existing HRMS data and budget documents.
  • Compile and evaluate a list of business processes pertinent to position control.
  • Conduct follow-up discussions with subject matter experts as necessary.
  • Prepare and present findings and recommendations, including:
  • Gap analysis regarding the current organizational structure and Position Control implementation.
  • Report on the number of positions requiring updates for Position Control.
  • System requirements and suggestions for effective implementation.
  • Essential process modifications.
  • Benefits of Position Control for the organization.
  • Review and finalize findings with key stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HRMS/HRIS/HCM.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and executing Position Control in large, complex organizations, preferably within government sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to cultivate constructive and effective relationships within and outside the organization.
