Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Conference Event Coordinator to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing conferences, events, and meetings that showcase our company's expertise and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Coordinate and plan conferences, events, and meetings from start to finish, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, and logistics.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely communication.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze event reports, including attendance, revenue, and customer feedback, to inform future event planning and strategy.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in event planning, coordination, or management.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; proficiency in event planning software and tools.
