Position Overview:

The Seasonal Event Coordinator plays a pivotal role in orchestrating events from inception to execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in live event management, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role demands the ability to translate a broad vision into actionable plans, ensuring every detail is meticulously addressed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute events at various venues, including the development of site layouts, branding elements, and catering arrangements.
  • Oversee on-site quality assurance and service delivery in collaboration with local teams before and during events.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all attendees at events.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise part-time staff for event operations.
  • Manage the entire event lifecycle, including setup and dismantling.
  • Maintain effective communication with management and clients throughout the event process.
  • Understand and manage technical aspects of event setups, including audiovisual equipment and utilities.
  • Lead and motivate event staff, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Coordinate logistics and vendor management effectively.
  • Safeguard and manage event assets between occasions.
  • Proactively address challenges that arise during events.
  • Engage positively with attendees to enhance their experience.
  • Provide constructive feedback to management for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in regular communication with management regarding event planning.
  • Adapt to requests for changes from partners and management as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in management or supervisory roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A passion for sports and the excitement of live events is preferred.
  • Self-motivated with a strong team-oriented mindset.
  • High energy and a positive attitude are essential for success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and mentor team members effectively.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 20 lbs. and work during weekends.
  • Experience in inventory management and financial reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with event technologies and operational platforms is beneficial.
  • Goal-oriented with a commitment to timely project completion.
  • Comfortable using tools and climbing ladders as necessary.
  • Quick-thinking and adept at troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and remain on feet for extended periods.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate varying event weeks.
  • Reliable transportation is required for event attendance.
