Position Overview

Summary: As a Senior Financial Consultant at LCI-Lawinger Consulting, you will engage closely with our Product Development division to deliver crucial financial insights and bolster strategic projects. Your responsibilities will encompass analyzing expenditure patterns, pinpointing essential performance metrics, and providing actionable recommendations aimed at improving financial outcomes. This role is pivotal in fostering innovation within our organization, presenting numerous opportunities to effectuate significant changes through both data-driven analysis and by influencing operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main financial advisor to the Product Development leadership team, offering insights into financial performance and actively engaging in cross-departmental discussions.
  • Assist in the formulation of annual financial budgets and updated forecasts to monitor project outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough variance analyses between actual and anticipated budgets, identifying potential savings and delivering actionable insights.
  • Provide financial perspectives during monthly assessments, ensuring that key stakeholders comprehend the factors driving changes.
  • Collaborate with Product Development to recommend scalable business solutions pertaining to planning and budgeting.
  • Serve as a bridge between the business team and the accounting department to guarantee precise financial reporting.
  • Execute ad hoc financial analyses as needed.
  • Develop and sustain reporting tools for Product Development evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and adept problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in financial forecasting and data analysis.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
  • Proven leadership abilities and a track record of driving results.
