Are you an accomplished accounting professional aiming to elevate your career? We are a prominent firm in the finance sector seeking a Senior Financial Operations Manager to join our vibrant team.

Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of engaging tasks, from maintaining the general ledger and executing month-end close processes to conducting financial analysis and ensuring internal controls.



Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Financial Operations Manager, you will undertake a diverse array of duties:

  • Oversee and manage the general ledger.
  • Execute month-end close processes promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and other legal requirements.
  • Establish and uphold robust internal controls.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to aid decision-making.
  • Manage ERP systems, preferably Deltek/Cost Point.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve financial objectives.
  • Support external audit processes.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable role.
  • CPA certification is mandatory.

1 to 3 years of public accounting experience.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Deltek/Cost Point.
  • Extensive experience with public companies and SOX compliance.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting and analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of FAR.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
