Position Summary: The Facilities Project Planner is tasked with ensuring the timely and cost-effective achievement of business goals related to project planning and quality standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing schedules, defining the scope of work, issuing work orders, selecting contractors, overseeing the repair or replacement of various building systems, and allocating necessary resources and time for project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan, develop, lead, coordinate, and monitor project execution in a rapidly evolving environment.

· Assess all critical project deliverables and the final outcome to ensure compliance with requirements, high quality, budget constraints, delivery timelines, and customer satisfaction.

· Guarantee that projects are thoroughly planned and organized, including defining project scope and establishing communication strategies with contractors and customers to minimize disruption to operations.

· Prepare change orders for the original project scope, secure necessary approvals, and communicate modifications to both internal and external stakeholders as required.

· Engage in cross-project planning to address conflicts related to resources, schedules, and project scope.

· Cultivate and maintain effective communication and interpersonal skills throughout all phases of the project.

· Report on progress, risks, expectations, timelines, and other essential project metrics to both internal and external stakeholders.

· Continuously seek opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction.

· Exhibit excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage projects effectively within established timelines and scopes while handling multiple projects and deadlines.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

· High School Diploma / GED.

· PMP certification is highly preferred.

· Significant experience in project management is highly preferred.

· A minimum of three years of experience in project planning is required, or a combination of education and experience.

· At least two years of experience in the residential and/or commercial construction sector is preferred.

Computer Skills:

· Experience with Maximo software is highly preferred.

· Familiarity with work order tracking systems is highly preferred.

· Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
